The Spider & the Fly

Seduction is only the beginning

Late one evening, a domineering father and his young daughter are drawn off a deserted road into a place that seems to pulse with its own hunger.

Inside, music throbs. Bodies blur. Desire hangs thick in the air. What feels at first like liberation quickly reveals itself as something more calculated, a theatre of seduction where innocence is currency and charm is a trap.

The daughter, intoxicated by attention and freedom, drifts willingly toward the magnetic host who rules this world. He offers glamour, flattery, and belonging.

Above them, unseen but not absent, the father hangs suspended, silenced, cocooned, forced to witness the slow tightening of a web he cannot break.

In this surreal fable of appetite and control, seduction is not romance. It is strategy.

The screenplay was adapted from Mary Howitt's classic poem titled The Spider & the Fly.

A captivating and unsettling exploration of predator-prey dynamics where the lines between seduction and entrapment blur in a haunting dance of human insects. Bizarre but brilliant.
